Judo Point-of-Entry Self Cleaning Filter Unit
This is a picture of a filtration unit that is used on incoming city water “Domestic Water Applications”. We have been installing these recently to help on city make-up water filtration issues.
Impurities such as rust, sand and dirt can often cause early erosion of copper pipes, sediment build-up in hot water tanks and malfunctioning equipment such as pressure regulating valves, booster pumps, shut-off valves, electronic faucets and toilet flush valves.

In this video we have installed a Judo point-of-entry self cleaning filter unit. Bond recently installed this on the domestic make-up line to a critical HVAC heating system to eliminate incoming impurities like rust particles from older city water piping, sand and dirt. It is designed for low maintenance and requires no labor for cartridge replacements. This unit features an automatic backwash mode which you can see is currently in progress. Check out how the internal cleaning blades effortlessly sweep the unwanted contaminants to drain. It’s simple, effective and smart for many commercial and industrial needs.
